Patricia is president/founder of Brooks Goldmann Publishing, LLC with her husband and business partner of over 20 years. Patricia and Earl are enthusiastic about storytelling in their award-winning memoirs. Their successful writing life, and marriage, centers around writing, publishing, and promoting their books.
Patricia’s books include Sick as My Secrets, a powerful memoir told by a strong woman who overcame her desperate need for alcohol. Three Husbands and a Thousand Boyfriends is her poignant story of surviving and thriving after decades of love addiction. Gifts of Sisterhood-journey from grief to gratitude is her tribute to her youngest sister who passed away from lung cancer. Her nonfiction book Write the Memoir You’re Afraid to Write is here newest addition to their collection.
Earl’s first book Bounce Back is vignettes of his life in Oregon, playing sports at Oregon State and losing it all with a horrific care accident. Intestinal Fortitude is his second set of vignettes with more in-depth stories of his life with depression, alcohol, coaching success, and inspiration. He is currently authoring stories for his third book.
They will be at the festival to display and sell their books and answer any questions you may have about writing or publishing. Patricia is also the founder and president of the phenomenally successful Scottsdale Society of Women Writers.
