Talk: The Power of Listening: Writing With Empathy and Awareness

As a writing teach, author Ruth Douthitt learned early on that the greatest stories begin not with words, but with listening. In this session, Ruth will discuss how deep, intentional listening-to others, to our characters, and to our own inner voice-can transform our writing and enrich our creative process. She’ll discuss how empathy and awareness fuelauthentic storytelling and help us connect more deeply with our readers. Come ready to listen, learn, and let silence speak inspiration into your work.
