Patricia is president/founder of Brooks Goldmann Publishing, LLC with her husband and business partner of over 20 years. Patricia is enthusiastic about storytelling in her award-winning memoirs. Her books include Sick as My Secrets, a powerful memoir told by a strong woman who overcame her desperate need for alcohol. Three Husbands and a Thousand Boyfriends is her poignant story of surviving and thriving after decades of love addiction. Gifts of Sisterhood-journey from grief to gratitude is her tribute to her youngest sister who passed away from lung cancer. Her nonfiction book Write the Memoir You’re Afraid to Write is her newest addition to this collection.
Patricia is also the founder and president of the phenomenally successful Scottsdale Society of Women Writers. She started the group in September of 2005 and has had a monthly speaker/dinner every month since that time
