WHY: Mission: Scottsdale Society of Women Writers gives members access to events of interest, a format for exchanging ideas, an opportunity to network with other women writers/authors in camaraderie and support, and an alliance with professionals for writing, publishing, and marketing.
BIO – SPEAKER/AUTHOR: ShaRon Rea is the Curriculum Designer and Facilitator of the C.O.R.E. Communication Lab Training and Founder of No Judgment Just Love. She has published two books: Children and Divorce and the No Judgment Just Love Coloring Journals (available in left-and-right-hand editions.) Her friends and colleagues describe her as an unwavering advocate for personal transformation for all those seeking to unleash their true potential.
TOPIC – Wisdom Across the Ages: Writing Stories with Multigenerational Awareness Description. What if every generation held a piece of the communication puzzle? ShaRon will show how the Silent Generation through the Gen Alpha can both teach and learn from each other, adding depth to characters and meaningful dialogue. These insights will help craft stories that resonate across all ages. This engaging presentation and discussion will inspire you to see generations not as barriers, but as bridges to richer storytelling.

NEW VENUE since April: The meeting is at the CHOMPIE’S at 9301 E. Shea Blvd., at the corner of 92nd St. and Shea, Scottsdale. This is our NEW location for 2025.

PRICING: Meeting cost is now $25.00: this covers the wonderful food and the spacious room. The menu will consist of sandwich and salad choices, fruit and/or veggie trays, a special dessert, and a variety of beverages. The food at this venue is fresh and good. I will be changing the menu each month to keep it interesting.
DUES: Dues are $50. For your membership, you will receive a copy of the directory, the quarterly newsletter, member support at all Scottsdale Society of Women Writers events, and other happenings with the group and the area’s writing community. Plus, a plethora of professional speakers appear throughout the year.

- Help members to stretch as writers and reach lofty personal goals.
